AntMiner E9

The Antminer E9 is an ASIC miner whose target is Ethereum. In terms of the mining cards currently available, the Antminer E9 is equivalent to:115 CMP 30HXs and 32 RTX 3080s or the 25 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090s (120 MH/s per 3090). With a 2556W power consumption and an efficiency of 0.85 J/M, the Antminer E9 is 15.3% faster and 14.8% more efficient compared to the Linzhi Phoenix miner which has a hash rate of 2.6 GH/s and at a power consumption of 3000W.In terms of profitability, at only $0.059 per kWh, the Antminer E9 would make approximately $236 per day, $7000 monthly, and excruciatingly $100,000 per year with all its electricity costs factored in.

This is a quality miner with a quality price and it directly succeeds the Antminer E3. It also comes with significant upgrades across the board, including a hash rate of 3GH/s, which is quite a step up from the E3’s 180MH/s.This extra performance however comes at an exceptionally high power draw of 2,665W. The Antminer E9 offers 32 times more processing power than the GeForce RTX 3080 at less than half of the power budget, and it does this by using roughly 2,556 watts, while other comparable miners need well over 3,000 watts to function. So from all indications, it shows that the E9 can mine Ethereum 15% faster than the second-fastest miner out there while using less electrical power. Then again, its graphics cards can also play games, something that ASICs cannot do.
